Influence of Alcohol Over Cannabis Weight While Driving

Consumption of alcohol and marijuana to give adverse effects to health because it can reduce awareness. But in a study of the influence of alcohol more heavily than marijuana when someone is driving.

A clinical trial data showed no differences in driving ability before and after consuming marijuana. People who consume marijuana does not degrade current capability to drive, it's just that usually decreases the speed.

This is different to people who drink alcohol. People who drink alcohol will increase the speed of his driving ability are significantly but not controlled.

The discovery, published in the Journal of psychoactive Drugs March 2010 issue of the motor test results on the simulator, the result is no difference in driving before and after smoking marijuana.

Researchers from the Hartford Hospital in Connecticut and the University of Iowa Carver College of Medicine to assess the driving simulation of 85 participants including conducting tests with placebo.

Participants respond to a variety of simulated events associated with the risk of car accidents, such as avoiding drivers who illegally entered the intersection, did not violate the traffic lights, emergency vehicles responding to the existence and avoid collisions with animals that pass on the highway.

Researchers also noted that participants who consumed marijuana cigarette has a reduced speed compared with partispan who received placebo. But does not affect the ability of the person in driving.

Yet the risk of driving accidents is dependent on the dose dependence of the person against marijuana. In contrast to a study reported that drivers who use alcohol and cannabis simultaneously can increase the risk of accidents compared to only eat one of them.
